I just got back from the range with my xdm 9mm and cz 75b. No problems shooting Blazers and Federals through the xdm, then switched to Winchester white box and got a whole bunch of duds. I tried them in the CZ, which has never had an issue with any rounds, and had the same result. The low powered pop and failure to eject. I bought 4 boxes at Dick's and that is 2 so far that have given me problems. The range attendants said that they never recommend Winchester rounds because they are garbage. I have shot many white boxes prior with no issues.
Did I get a crap batch or is the quality going down?
    Similar experiences or thoughts?

I have shot about 500 rounds of WWB 9mm with out a single problem with my XDm.
Come to think of it, I have never had a problem with any ammo thru my XDm

I don't know how many thousands of rounds of WWB I've fired.

No more issues with it than with any other cheap range ammo.

I had 1 dud in about 4 WWB boxes, but now use Federal and over 1000 rounds not a single issue. Federal seems to be cleaner than WWB

Only thing is federal brass is soft and some feel is not worth reloading in the .40s/w. I've used well over 500 rounds of WWB in my .45 acp and have never had a issue. Sounds like you must have had a bad run.

Have you contacted the seller? If you had a "bunch" of duds I wouldn't doubt they'd refund your money or replace your ammo. If there was just a couple I doubt they'd do much.

Just called Dick's, and they said they will refund the 2 remaining boxes. Now I am wary of going with the Winchester. Might have to pay the extra dollar or 2 and go with a different brand.

Well that's to bad Dicks didn't stand behind the duds you had... You might want to contact winchester as well and give them your lot numbers from the boxes the duds were in. They just might make it up to you, if you had a lot of duds in each box.

Just got back from Dick's. Since I didn't have a receipt the computer defaults to the lowest possible price which for some reason is $2.99. No way am I giving away 200 rounds for 6 bucks. I would rather deal with every 5th round failing.
