Pretty self-explanitory They are the 13rd mags BTW
not that i have an answer, but mine do too.
it is just the springs hitting the metal mag frame.. the two i got with my XD 45 acp do the same thing and i didnt know if it was a defect.. i ordered two extra mags and they do the same thing.. no worries, because i have put over 2500 rounds among all four and no problems.
Why does this question get asked AND answered every month, sometimes twice.
Can you say "SEARCH"
I can say search. "S E A R C H" !
Mine rattle too. Stick it into the gun and it gets quiet. It's nothing to be concerned about.
When I'm loaded, my whole body rattles so what's the big deal.
Mine rattle, but it's definitely not the mag springs.
Both of my 10 round subcompact 9mm mags rattle. It comes from the rounds sliding forward and back. One would think that the pressure of the round above and below would hold it in place, but there must be a certain spot that allows them to move freely. Usually if I smack the base of the magazine (seperate from the pistol, of course) against the palm of my hand sharply, the rounds are re-seated in the magazine and stop rattling.
And guys, come on...if you don't want to answer, then just don't. People jumping on questions with "Search function" answers make a forum appear unfriendly and unhelpful to new members. If you get tired of questions being asked more than once, then leave it alone and let someone else answer it.
