The prices aren't great, but if you can't get ammo, it's not all that bad.

    PMC 9mm 115gr fmj $17.49
    PMC 45ACP 230gr fmj $20.99
    PMC .380 90gr fmj $16.99
    Agila 9mm 115gr fmj $13.49
    Ely Sport 22lr 40gr $2.99

This is in south central Illinois. If you are interrested, PM me, and I will tell you exactly where.

This is a Farm and Fleet type store. Their prices are always high, but right now they seem reasonable. They haven't been paying attention, or they would have raised their prices, I'm sure.

To many people with money paying stupid prices , even back in 08 with the shortage I never paid over 13 bucks a box for 9mm and that was American Eagle .

These days, that's about as good as it gets! Actually, 16.99 is pretty good for .380, and they have some 9mm for $13.49

They had some 100 round boxes of Remington .357 hollow points for $63...OUCH.

Some places have NO ammo at all. Just trying to help those in need. Thankfully, I'm pretty well set. Didn't buy any of it.

    Then after double what tripple?

Guess people shouldn't complain about gas prices being so high if they hate paying 4 bucks a gallon but will pay double in ammo.

$20 for 50 rounds of PMC .45ACP is the best I've seen it around here in awhile. My LGS charges $23.99 for the same PMC.

    PM me the location please.

Pretty soon reloading will be the only way to go. Buying retail will be for carry ammo and only the most casual shooters.

You could pick up pmc 9 for 9 bucks a box all day before the panic, at 18 dollars a box that is double.

Aquilla for 13.50 I wouldn't mind purchase , that is more reasonable and I have had no problems with Aquilla they are good ammo.

LOL - the Aguila is the only 9mm that I noticed in the photos at first and thought 13.50 wasn't double, but your right on about the PMC. Way too much for it.

It's funny, I saw someone paying $25 for a box of 25ACP ammo at a gun show today, and I wouldn't pay $25 for a firearm chambered for that cartridge.

Uhmm... When I went to college, gasoline was 17 cents a gallon for 95 octane. The good stuff, over 100 octane was about a quarter a gallon. So yeah... I hate paying $4 a gallon for it now.

As little as a dozen years ago or so, 1000rnd case of 9mm was under $100, so for a long time I didn't reload for it.

The moral of the story, get an oil well and reload! Oh... and buy into a primer factory.

Ignore the people moaning and griping. You post up something people are looking for and they gripe at you for the price or because it's not what they prefer. I don't get it; we're just trying to help out the community. It's not like we have a say in the price or availability. Thanks for taking the time to let us know.
Exactly what I was thinking. Most everywhere I went prior to SH was about $12/box for 9mm. Not sure how that guy can say $17/box is double the typical going price.
