Didn't quite make it a year but wanted to tell everyone goodbye. No longer need or use this forum because apparently you can tell people that you sell your items for too much and them follow that up by adding an off site listing to a similar item.
Thought that broke posting rules but WDIK.

    SO, KMA

    Bye

Maybe instead of throwing a tantrum, you should report the doucheflute that crapped in your for sale thread...

Hummm, this makes the third or forth time I've witnessed this kind of behavior with gun forum members, over the last 5 years or so.

I've never been able to figure out why those who leave like this, feel the need to say "good bye".

    Tis a mystery to me.

I saw his FS thread and the douche nozzle post trashing his asking price.

I am always amazed by those types of posts.

If someone is selling something and you got advice about price etc. PM the OP.

I read the thread too and he really wasn't trashing the seller's post, just giving his opinion on how to sell it at a competitive price so he can sell it faster. Personally I wouldn't have said anything since he needed as much money as possible for medical bills. I've been there myself when I had to sell my Loaded Stainless 1911 to make rent.

I saw it too...unnecessary and unsolicited advice but not offered with malice.

My own personal policy is to stay out of FS threads unless I'm going to buy...which I have, several times.

Well I be da C that crapped in his sale thread. It is what it is and it won't matter. In short, I said,"Just my Opinion" at the very start. His post stated one standard mag with Pearce Grip. I assumed he meant installed on the one standard mag. I was mistaken. I pointed out I couldn't see any mag with a Pearce Grip installed or couldn't see the Pearce Grip at all. I mentioned all I could see was a mag with a standard base plate. I then stated that while his Shield he was selling did have extra goodies, I felt they didn't amount to his asking price of $xxx.xx OBO. In his favor, it was his Shield for sale Thread. He did say OBO. I suggested he look at a High End S&W M&P Shield 9mm Crimson Trace Laser - NIB for sale on GunBroker as an example of the big difference in his asking price for his lightly used S&W M&P Shield 9mm and the most expensive S&W M&P Shield 9mm I could find on GunBroker. I was hoping he could see his price was greater than the high priced one on GunBroker.. Now in my defense, I had just sold a pistol and a few knives at the local gun show. I had enough money to buy his Shield at the lower end prices of the Shields for sale on GunBroker andlike he said, he would ship for free. I was planning on using Casino Pawn, in Van Buren, AR. He gives me good deals on using his FFL to ship to.
Here's where I think it went south quick. He thought the link to GunBroker was my gun and I was using his Thread to sell it. Understandably, if that where true I would be a little PO'd too.
Needless to say he was "disappointed" with my comments in my post. In his next post he did admit that." yes it seems steep on the price" so he began to describe all the goodies that came with his Shield to me again and their prices I knew to be high, I looked. Also stating that none of the goodies he was describing had yet been installed on his Shield. So I'm OK with that I probably wouldn't used much of them anyway.
He then says to me,"Looking at your listing 469.99 + 35.00 + your FFL fee about $520.00 ish. Then add what I have added $150.00. $670.00.
Yep you got me there. If you don't like the price then don't jump on here and criticize my price. You could have just as easily skipped the tirade about my price and moved on. And I was thinking he said $xxx.xx OBO.
Then he states,"Thanks for attempting to sell an item on my post. P.S. we all know we never sell for the price we list
I'm thinking," is he talking OBO now?"
My next post I tried to explain the link. And I said," I was just trying to help nicely. I guess I failed on that one. Sorry about that....
Now at that point I became a Doucheflute. I said." If you're paying $35.00 to an FFL Dealer to transfer you a firearm, I'd find a new one. So you admit you're jacking up the price and then adding $150.00 for what have you added? I don't get it. Man, chill a little. I did say Just My Opinion. Oh well, Some Folks you just Touch them and They Bleed.
Good luck with your firearms sale, really.

And that's my story and I'm sticking to it
