I went into my Walmart today to find out the Winchester White Box 40 Caliber 100 round 165 grain price is now $34.97 (it was $31.97 the last time I bought a box). Is this still a good price, or should I buy from somewhere else?

I just checked the website for my local gun dealer and they are listing that same box for 33.99, so that price you quote is similar to others.

Yeah, the $$ declines & everything goes up. I bought Fed 223 in Dec for $5.50/20 delivered, now you can't find it for under $6.50. Reloading is your friend if you shoot a lot.

I buy the Fedreal 180gr. 100 count $27.50 at my Wal-mart. You might want to give them a try.

I haven't bought WWB in over a year because the price has gone up more than it has on others. I shoot mostly Federal, Tula, and Blazer out of my automatics and reload for my .357.

I just picked up some Federal 180 gr for $0.319 per round. Rem UMC bulk pack was same price per round.
They were out of WWB, but IIRC it was more expensive, around .33 or .34 per round.

The price on WWB jumped here also from $31 to $34, but they had the Remington mega pack 250 for $79 which is about $.31 per round.

Jumped from 32.97 to 36.97 here in NC - Raleigh area WWB 165Gn 40 S&W
If they have Federal in stock, it was 27.95 but I have not seen it for months.

I'm reloading so I don't buy it any more.

I reload 180gr. XTP's for about 26 bucks. hollow points with a punch. Dual purpose. Don't feel bad punching paper with it, and I can finish off game or hunt small game.
