I came across this used Sp101 for sale that customized by Genisiscustom.com. It's hydra ported and the video from Genisis is awsome but the guy wants $600 firm for it and it has like 500 rounds through it. What do you all think?

A used SP101 normally goes for around $300-350 around here.

I guess you'd need to decide how much the porting is worth to you.

Never heard of Genesis. Gemini Customs does great work. Personally I don't see the value of porting an SP101.

your right that was it Gemini Customs, it's not only the porting that they do but they bead blast it, install new springs, chrome pins and a really nice wood grip.

If it has all those other things done to it, then that is a good price, because work by Gemini ain't cheap. They do very nice work. Just don't think you really benefit from porting an SP101 since the kick is not all that bad anyways. On the other hand, it probably shoots and looks real sweet.

Here is my GP100 that Gemini customized (non-ported).

    LJ,
Sharp looking revolver! I really like that bead-blasted look. How badly do finger prints and propellant exhaust show up on it? Does it clean up pretty easy?

Seems to clean up nicely, and fingerprints don't show at all.
