Upgraded my XDM40

    I've sent my slide off to Richard (Canyon Creek Customs) for slide lightning with a two tone finished. Also just finish installed PRP Match Target easy fit. My next three mods will be the Wolff guide rod with a 22lb spring, Truglo's TFO sight sets and Ext. mag release. Hope you'll like it:

    Very nice, I bet a brushed SS barrel would look good through the reliefs along with the SS guide rod. I think my first mods will probably be sights and a Wolf Guide rod in black.

    Thanks you'll. I got the slide in today and cost me $170 total for slide ligthning and refinished. Haven't shot it yet but will find out tomorrow.

    What's the purpose of lightening the slide like that.
    It looks cool but does it have a functional purpose?
