I guess you'll have to learn how to make your own.

Already been there done that. Well grew it and had all intentions of that. Lol. I have mustard still coming up in random spots from all the seed That was made.

I prefer $2 frenchs or whatever compared to the amount of time and water it took to grow it. Mostly ate the leaves. Saved loads of seeds hoping one day I would make some . Never happened. Had all the fixins just didn't do it. Leaves were good though. Mmmm

Order some free samples from Wise Food Storage , My Patriot Supply, , and Mountain House, my personal favorite. You can get MREs from almost anywhere, but Amazon is a good source. Take a few camping and actually eat them. Will give you an idea of how they taste, fill you up, and pack.

Think about your water supply when the power goes. If you are on a well, you can get kits to install a siphon pump on your wellhead. You can always purify with boiling, but there are filtration systems small and large out there. Rain water capture systems.

Gardening - get Survival Seeds and use them. Great gardening heirloom seeds.

I've got a 1200 gal cistern that's fed by my downspouts. Dump in a cup of bleach after every hard rain. Use it mainly to water garden and plantings.

the problem with survival food is it is not the type of thing you would want to eat in a non-survival situation, so there is not going to be any cycling.
That is why I said FIFO canned goods, and dry goods.
For the mustard; vacuum seal the seeds and toss 'em in the freezer.
having a hand powered stone grinder available would be helpful in a long term situation, but long term thinking is more on the wacko advanced side of prepping. Don't even consider it unless you have 3 months ready.

Which means you are concentrating entirely on the wrong things.

But seriously--are you in decent physical shape?

Do you know how to grow your own food? Do you know how to store it?

    Stockpile of necessary meds?

    How's your basic medical skills?

Lots of ammo and armor might buy you a few days, at best. If you're serious about long term...you'll know they're a placebo.
