I had purchased two boxes of Sig Sauer V-Crown ammo, from two different stores. I also had two boxes of 125gr FMJ. Hoever, I had two FTF from, one from each box of thr Sig V-crown. Reason beinf, each box had exactly one 40 cal round in it. I obviously missed it while loading. Very odd.

That is very odd. I've had really good luck with Sig ammo in 308, you'd think they'd have better QC.

Call them with the lot and pallet number.

Maybe you'll get some stickers out of it!

I could see maybe two boxes, same store, people messing around but two boxes, two different stores, odd. Maybe from same lot.

Check the boxes if you still have them and see.

Wouldn't be shocked to see local stores having some ammo from the same lot.

I always try to remember keeping the boxes if there was something goofy. Sometimes you get a box of replacement ammo and sometimes a "that never happens thank you for informing us"

    ^ This.

With bulk ammo, I'll tear off the lot stamping on the box(es), and store the with the ammo until I've used it up. This way, if there's problems, I can trace it back.
