ive been thinking about geting one of the two rifels. the first one is a rock river lar-8, 20" standard A4 config. the second choice is a springfield M1A standard m1a. best selling rifel of all time vs an american classic.

    what would you chooses ?

M1a, I absolutely love the platform. The LAR-8 is a great rifle if you want the versatility of the AR platform, but for Me, the M1a is the one to get

I don't know for the cost of a M1a you can get a AR10 and a lot more for the price and I would dare say their equally capable in accuracy but the AR10 is more versatile.

Depends on what brand of AR10. I wouldn't touch RRA,BM,DPMS, etc if they paid me to. In those cases you are getting sooo much more for the M1A/M14S short of getting a Norinco.

Both were on my list of guns to get, both cost around the same, where I am. I'm actually thinking about getting the SCOCOMII from SA, I like the shorter OAL
