First off Bear, very nice. It would be hard to pass up the x8. I had the 1-6 and really liked it. The PA scopes are solid values. I liked the reticle. Pretty usable. Actually, I really liked it. Solid scope, nothing to complain about. But I did want something better.

I had a Vortex PST 6-24x50. Loved that scope. Fan of Vortex.

WRX... Dude, you really, REALLY want that Razor. Seriously, REALLY. Specs say it's heavy. Which it is. But it was only a couple ounces more than the PA 1-6. But that glass is ridiculous. The field of view is insane. At x1 with both eyes open it litteraly disappears. It's crazy.

But I was looking at the 1-8 until I escalated out of control :)

I'd be interested in the mount you used if you don't mind.

Not very likely. It's a real issue to get time off work since my schedule has me always working weekends. I don't have any dates in mind, but I do intend on picking up something for next year when vacation picks come around at the end of this year.

^ Cool, bro. Let me know when you do again, OK? Love to meet you in person and shake your hand. :)

Real-life is a bummer, I know. Out-of-state classes - or even drives of over 2 hours - are still pretty much no-go for me because of my family/work scheduling.

And yup, I think I'm going to be out-of-control, too.

I'll definitely take a look at the Vortex Razors.
