I just installed this kit on my XDS and let me tell ya......... it is amazing. The difference is crazy. The trigger feels as if I took it to a gunsmith and got a really expensive trigger job. Does anyone else have any experience with this product? Just checking out other opinions. Best 14 bucks I have ever spent.

I installed one on my XDs last week.
Personally, I think I just wasted 18 bucks.
It didn't make much difference on mine.

If you've ever felt and expensive drop in trigger group like they do on the full size XD, youll change your mind. However, I have the spring kit too and did make a difference. worth every peny

I've installed 3 prp triggers on my xdms/xd.
And I love them. If they had that kit for the XDs, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
I'm just saying, the spring kit, is IMO. nothing to brag about. YMMV. :D

I saw that they offered all types of trigger kits for the xd and xdm lines but just the spring kit for the XDS. Not really familiar with them but I do have to say, a 2 pound drop on the trigger pull for 14 bucks is a deal. Do you guys think that they will make a complete trigger kit for the XDS?

Beware. I installed the kit and began having light strikes that would then fire in another pistol. I removed the striker spring and put in the original and the problem was solved. The rest of the kit definitely improved the trigger a bunch, just was afraid of the unreliability.

I found this too on my XDm. The gun finicky with some ammo. Try a few different makes and stick to what works.

Exact thing happened to my XDS 45, light strikes with PRP striker spring. Perfect with the factory.

Is this something I can tackle myself? LGS want $65 to do it, and I don't trust them too much after a debacle with a S&W 15-22 rifle that they buggered up. I'm quite competent with hand tools and the like, and would really like to do myself if at all possible.

I did mine. It wasnt too hard really. They have a youtube video that shows step by step how to do it. I had to watch it about 10 times but it worked great. It was my first tome taking apart a frame ever but will not hesitate to do it again.

Watch the video and then decide.

I like what it did for my trigger. Haven't had any issues in 400 rounds since.
