So I looked around and I couldn't find a picture thread for bolt action rifles. Let's post some pics of our bolt action rifles with specs! I'm at work right now so I don't have a pic to post but I'll post some pictures of my Remmington when I get home.

I need new optics pretty bad but just haven't been able to afford it yet. I made it a true floating barrel and it had an upgraded trigger when I bought it. I am also going to glass bed it and am working on putting rods in the stock to make it a little more ridgid. I'm also looking at some modifications to the stock to adjust cheek height. I don't want to just put a wrap on it. I'm probably going to do some drilling/molding/cutting and add an adjustable cheek rest. It's still a work in progress but I love it.

The stock is a Stockys Varmint. Action and barrel are stock. I just bedded, dropped the trigger to 2.5 lbs, changed the bottom metal and bolt knob and bolted on the bipod. Scope is Nightforce and the base and rings are Luppy Mark 4s. As soon as I tear up that stock it will probably get a Manners.

Great.... another thread to make me jealous

I want a 700 in .308 badly, the only thing keeping me from buying one is because the longest rifle range we have here is 200 yards. It seems like it would be a waste of it's power and accuracy. I've got a .22 and 30-06 bolt action I'll post when I get home.

how do you like that stockys?? I just emailed them yesterday regarding theyre LRS 2.0 stock. When you change stocks, did you notice a better fit over the stock one? Im hoping to reduce recoil with it.

I really like the Manners stocks but I think I want to build a new rifle for that stock. Haven't decided yet. My current 700 was a gift from my father so I don't think I want to replace everything on it. I think I'm gonna build up this set up the most I can and build another... Maybe .300 win or .338 lapua. Not sure yet.

Now that's some money invested right there! I would have trouble affording any of that separately, let alone all together

The Stock is OK but gets beat up doing tactical shooting as laminates don't like getting thrown up on barricades or pushed up against trees. No real benefit over the factory wood stock other than bedding as my original didn't flex or touch the barrel. I just prefer a thumbhole but the Eliminator Pad is an improvement. Other than that it looks and shoots like the factory stock and bedding dropped the groups by .5"-.75". I don't baby any of my gear so I'm sure I'll tear it up one day and have an opportunity to replace it.

    Thank you sir!

I just got this Steyr M95/34 about two weeks ago and just came back from the shooting range yesterday. She is chambered for 8x56R and does have a kick.....it also has a straight pull bolt with a 5 round en-bloc clip and is a lot of fun to shoot.

I have dies/brass/bullets ordered for handloading that are due in whenever, it's hard to tell these days when anything will be delivered.

Thanks and no I can't. 5R Milspec .308. Knew I was gonna have to spend some big money for glass and ended up going with IOR. This scope is solid and excellent quality. It will certainly out perform me. Harris will be here on Monday. I'm tickled with my setup so far, but have a few more things on my check list (break, 10rnd box, maybe trigger). Ha, basicly just got it, so I need to at least shoot it as is for now.
