Bought my first hand gun today, XD(m) 9mm compact bi-tone. Just love the way it feels in my hand, even got my wife to play with it a little and she likes it too. She can't do the slide release while its locked but she can rack it which is pretty cool.

Just waiting on my local gun range to finish its indoor range so I can put a few rounds downrange.

Picked up a case of hollow points already for home defense to go along with my 30-30 and .22 (got a lot of dogs roaming in my neighborhood)

Im planning on getting my CHL, any recommendations on a good holster? Im 5'6, 205 lbs, 36in waist. (Im working on getting those last two numbers a little lower)

I would post pics but I'm pretty sure that everyone knows the look of a bone stock XD(m)

Congrats on the new gun! Be careful xdm's can be habit forming.

Welcome. Check out the Crossbreed Supertuck. It's a nice IWB holster option.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum! I carry my XD9 Service in a Galco Summer Comfort and love it. I run 6-1 230 and don't worry about printing, anyone who knows don't care. Have your wife work on the push/pull method if she isn't already and don't use the slide stop to drop the slide ;)

Congrats! I bought my first pistol (and first gun ever) 4 weeks ago. I am like a new man. I love this thing. I bought the same XDM as you only all black. Great buy!
