Keep playing the ignorant operator card but it's just a fact. I have given you tons of links and you should know how to use Google and see thousands of results indicating how hammer fired guns give the second strike ability. You don't like it? You don't agree? Too damn bad.

Why Hammer Fired Pistols Still Rock - AllOutdoor.com
"Of course double actions have the ability to double strike any round with just a second trigger pull that does not fire without the whole extraction process."

Top 6 Polymer Double Action, Single Action Pistols for Every Day Carry - GunsAmerica Digest
"...a lot of shooters are coming around–or back around–to double-action/single-action pistols. Not only does the single-action trigger reset lock in place, these guns are capable of restrike or second strike in cases of stubborn primers."

Oh no! Even CZ USA is on with this one: Second Strike... - CZ-USA
"Only true double action designs have “Second Strike” capability. If, when the trigger is pulled, the primer fails to go off, second strike capability provides an additional opportunity to fire the cartridge."

Well, golly gee...do you think CZ is trying to sell pistols, and will spin anything to make their design look good?

How about this: name a single top shelf trainer that advises a second strike with any pistol...

I'm guessing that he was trained by Lucien Black, based upon the responses.

So now you go from SEAL training to "top shelf trainer"? Which is it? Can't stick to a resource or something?

But, which is faster in a self defense scenario where typically the first to get shots on target wins and the fight is over in 3 seconds? Click click or click, tap rack bang? You still haven't answered that as much as you still haven't given me that quote I asked for.

Well, since a lot of the top-shelf trainers come out of the SF community...it's a very logical move.

I notice that, once again, you can't answer the question.

And immediate TRB is faster to a bang...because once that second "click" goes "click", you're gonna have to do it anyway.

Odd. He didn't ask about my training. He asked about a "top shelf trainer" that teaches second strike. But my firearms training comes from the United States Air Force and various local NRA certified classes that I have taken in case you want to know. None of those trainers had hammer fired firearms and these classes do not teach remediation due to elemental failures.

But I gave solid links referencing second strike capability. You still want to deny that option even exists?

You are assuming that second click doesn't go bang though. And do you have any videos of a self defense situation where the person did a TRB and lived?

And no, not a lot of trainers come out of "SF". Plenty have been just your normal Ranger, Marine or even SWAT. And even more have done just NRA training and competition. Taran Butler never served in the military or police at all.

And exactly how many of the trainers that you name advise pressing the trigger for a "click" with a hammer fired pistol?

PS--you still haven't answered the original question.

    FFS.

I spent 15 years in SF. I've had more training than everyone in this thread combined. I work in federal law enforcement where I've received training from some of the best instructors on the planet. Nobody teaches restrike. Tap rack bang.
