Finished this one up on Saturday. What would be a good all purpose optic that wouldn't break the bank?

Vortex seems to bee the perfect balance here.

First time I've heard of them. What do they have to offer over the vortex offerings?

I have a Holosun sight on my X95 and it's been great so far. Comes with a mount, is lightweight, has 2 MOA dot, and good brightness and battery life. As far as "budget" red dots go I think it's one of the better ones.

I have the Vortex SPARC AR and it's a very affordable red dot.

My wife bought me a Sightmark Ultra Plus for Christmas. I dialed it in on Monday and was very happy with the results. It dialed in quick and held zero through 300+ rounds at 50 and 75 yards. I really like it on this gun. I need to reclear my 100yard range this week and see how I can do with it.
