    Hello all,
New to the forum and had a question regarding the XDM .45 compact.
I've done alot of research and am leaning in this direction for CC and HD. My question is that Bud's has two different model numbers for the Bi-tone and i can't figure out what the difference is. I would appreciate if anyone could tell me.
    See below please:
    XDM93845CSHC $630.00
    XDM93845CS $659.00

    Am i missing something here.
Thanks in advance for any light one could shed on this.

Welcome from Ohio! One is probably not a compact, the other is. Be careful to order the one you want.

Do a search for HDM983845CS on Buds website. It has a picture of the two and it appears the one with the HC behind it has a different magazine. Not sure if that's the only difference though.

Thanks for the welcome and quick replies. Both of them look like and say compact. And as far as the mags go, it is my understanding that they come with two, 1 reg and 1 ext. I will probably give them a call tomorrow and see if they can tell me. Thanks again

I believe the hc stands for high capacity as the mags hold 2 more rounds that the other. I noticed the same thing when doing research for my purchase.

I agree with Jaybird. One is High Capacity, and the other is for California :-(

I believe that you guys are correct. After doing some more research on another site that stated the hc came with 2 13 rounders and the other # came with 2 9 rounders. i was under the assumption that it came with 1 each but that does not seam to be the case. I emailed buds for further clarification as well. Thanks again for the quick replies. In the short time i've been lurking around here i picked up alot of knowledge and feel comfortable buying the 45 compact fo cc. Take care all.
