    STI International, Inc.

Check out the GP6 Poly pistol

I got to handle one the other day, They are one sweet pistol. Great trigger pull in SA and DA and the reset is crazy.

The feel of the gun is great.

Is a small review on it.

Wow...they found a way to make a polymer pistol more ugly than a Glock or XD. Way to go STI...as if we needed another polymer pistol on the already flooded market.

Knowing STI...I bet the thing is not cheap, either.

Yep, and if it IS imported from the Phillipines and had Charles Daly or RIA on the slide, it would probably sell for hundreds less. STI's name on it seems to fetch another 100-200 bucks. LOL

...and sorry...but its flat out hideous...I don't care how good it shoots.

I hate to say it but I rather like the looks of it. Holster selection will be hard to find but I bet it runs like a scalded dog. STI has great customer service for a company of its size.

It looks a lot like the CZ's to me. If it is comparable, there are lots of holsters available.

It is ugly and it's a 9. In other words it don't look good and it won't work good. No thank you.

I'll agree that it's not the most appealing piece, but how can you say that it won't work just because it's a 9mm?

There are a lot of (very biased) answers to that which would drag (hijack this thread) this in a direction completely different from where the OP was wanting to go.

    Sorry.

    So, to rephrase -

it is ugly and likely expensive and I don't have the funds so I'll stick with my .45s.

I think it is a nice pistol.

XDs arent made in the US and we all love them....

Capacity is 17+1 has a great trigger and very unique locking system.

I know it is an old thread, but has anyone else had a chance to shoot one of these pistols. Or does anyone own one that can give some experiences with it?
