Anyone know what the Springfield xdm9 4.5 acuracy standards are at 7-10 or 15yds acording to Springfield specs if they even print that stuff. That said what are you guys grouping at 7 or 10 yds also ammo brand used and weight. Reason is I just got a xdm9 in a trade and would like something to compare to. So far im averaging palm and hand size full mag 19rds groups at 7yds. (pictures included) both my sr9 and g17 wich I have shot way more get groups half that size. Im guessing more trigger time needed. Also do you guys notice if the xdm9 prefers one brand of ammo over another ? thanks ahead of time I look forward to learning and sharing gun info.

Yeah, looks like just basic trigger control to me. Some of the XDM groups are pretty good but a few did open up. Maybe a little fatigue set in? Concentrate on the XDM and I'm sure you'll see improvement.

Welcome to the forum and good shooting! As far as ammo, for the range an XDM will shoot virtually anything. Even the dreaded WWB reliably. Seems my 124 grn. Hand Loads are more accurate than my 115s.

Welcome from Virginia! TheXDm 9 eats everything I feed it. As for groups, the pistol is more accurate than I am. 'Nuff said.

After a call to Springfield this am I asked about xdm9 4.5 acuracy specs and she actualy refered to "her chart" 3.5" at 25 yds she said; anything bigger and i should send it in. so i got my work cut out. Back to the 20yd lane on the sandbags to see what its good for. Once i can confirm the gun is in spec i can focus on other aspects of it like bustin steel plates haha. Funy I ment to buy a 5.25" a few years back and bought a Glock 41 instead. Sold and traded acouple of 1911s and recently traded a SW mp45 and here I am. I knew sooner or later I get my hands on one. First impression after shooting Glocks since 93.......more refined easier on the hand and easier to point feels very well made. Now for the first 1k rds to get to know it better. lol

Welcome to the forum from Fort Smith Arkansas. I've seen and shot worse. Like you said, more trigger time.

some groups looked good a few were to spread out. If you want to instantly improve your groups through in a PRP drop in trigger kit.
