I am watching Swamp People while waiting for it to come on now.

Getting tired, hope I can last.

    Just watched a episode:

    Mountain Men — History.com Videos

Seemed like a good show i did like watching it. I wish they went a little more detail on some of the tools they use other than what you can see. IE: Hammer / Axe / Rifle..

Maybe hone in more on any of there skill sets they might have. Like with (Eustace) I think i could just watch a day to day show about him and cut out the others so far. I guess i will get a better idea in the next episode!

    Thanks for sharing.

why cant the alaskan dude just gather snow and melt it for a source of water? seems safer and smarter to do than drive your crappy snowmobile around and get two 5 gallon buckets of water from a river....why waste the time? when all you gotta do is melt the massive amount of snow around your cabin?

Much easier to dump a bucket in the lake and get 5 gallons of water instantly (while already outside hunting/trapping) than to waste time and fuel melting 5 gallon equivalent of snow.

watching a re run and just noticed something, when the alaskan dude broke down on his snowmobile checking his traps, they said "this time he is unarmed" yet when they showed him check his first trap before he broke down, he had his rifle slung on his back...............................................................................

While cool, it is just another scripted show destined for failure like all the other shows that started out cool; axe men, swamp people etc.

    What sane person goes unarmed...

Im not sure about Eustise. He is running a "mountain man" business.
Marty is a nut job. I feel for his wife and kid. Having to wonder about him for the 6 months he goes camping alone .
Tom is genuine in my opinion.

Swamp people is entertaining. I like how often the rifle changes during one gator...

I like Tom, but I think the guy in NC is a little nutty.
