Well, I wanted a cheap plinking gun seeing how .40 ammo is ridiculous, so i bought a 715T.

I'm heading out to the range sunday to try her out. Will be disassembling everything before hand to get her in pristine condition and see what problems i run into afterwards.

I also bought a cheap tru glow red dot as i didn't like the iron sights at all.

So far I'm happy with it. We shall see how it shoots sunday.

good luck with it! Hope it is a good range rifle for ya!!

Now, your quest will be to find ammo. Hope you have better success than I have been!

.22lr is harder to find than defensive cal. rounds!!

My buddy has one of those. They seem to be picky on ammo. It dosent like the federal bulk .22 or american eagle bulk. He's been only shooting cci stingers or cci velocitors. Other than that is a great plinker

i bought a brick of cci to shoot with. but yea trying to find ammo is beyond absurd right now. Good thing i have friends that have some stocked up :D.

I'll report how it does with bulk ammo and cci on sunday when i get back.

Where can you find "cheap" 22LR? You can't. What's the point of buying one of these if you are paying .50/rd or more for the ammo?

i payed 8.5 cents per round...? don't know where your getting your prices from but thats cheaper than .37 cents a round for .40 cal ammo.

They're good rifles I like mine, I only had an issue when I first got it because I didn't clean it first. After disassembly and a good cleaning it shoots everything, I've tried Wolf, CCI, Federal and that green box with the lightning on it.
