Well, I ended up going to the gunshow earlier today and came across this boy here. Its a straight cut MAK90 sporter imported in 1993. Get this, the price tag was $529 and after chatting with the head salesman he said I'll let yah have it for $500 otd. When I was walking around with it later on, I had ppl asking me if I was selling it lol. Had a extra bakelite mag handy from my M70B1 so I wanted to see how it looks together. Man these MAK's are nice..
Thank you, Señior.
The funny thing is I wouldn't have really noticed this rifle untill I seen about 3 ppl hovering over this ak like a pack of wolves and when they left I moved in for a quick look. When I was filling out the form, the group came back to buy it and boy were they pissed.
What else can I say but I love my Chinese Ak and my General Tso's Chicken.
Nice rifle! Any thought to getting the barrel threaded?
I sure wish the import ban on CHI-Com AK's would expire.
My Chinese AK has never failed to go boom.
Ive been thinking about it. My gunsmith is working on my shotgun right now. When I go pick it up I'll sound him out on threading the Mak. It shouldn't be a problem he does saiga conversions all the time.
I finally got to shoot this rifle today. 4 shots slow fire at 25yds indoor range. I used the table as a rest for my support arm. Not too shabby.. This things got a sweet trigger
