I switched my Bushmaster over to a Magpul PRS buttstock with an Accushot Monopod. It's an incredible combo that sets up a perfect three point base...

The PRS is as solid as they come and has easy turn turrets for adjusting the LOP and cheek weld for a customizable fit.

The Accushot is the most amazing shooting tool I've ever used. I have one on each of my target rifles. The range of adjustment is amazing and the ability to make fine adjustments on target is unrivaled. Depress the quick adjust button for macro adjustments or simply twist the monopod around its threads to raise or lower your crosshairs by a fraction of a milimeter. You never have to take your eyes off the target as you fine tune your elevation.

Got out to the range with it this morning...

    Here's my best 100yd results...

    Thank you Sir,

The tube came stock on the rifle, so I assume it's all Bushmaster. I've run across similar tubes from YHM recently at JoeBob Outfitters...

    HAHA! :p

I've had the Bushy for years now and thought I was done with it, but there's always something that I end up finding to tweak. I'm waiting on an upper for my new build and I think I modified my Bushmaster to keep my mind off not being able to finish my new project. I hate waiting on parts!

Speakin of tweaks, check out my SCAR thread for my newest toy...:D

Do you have to adjust that rear post for changing the height of your shot?

Yep, the rear monopod is unbelievable for elevation adjustment. Twisting the base around the threads allows for very minimal adjustments by hand which translates to sub-MOA adjustments on target.

    Thank you Sir,

Was shooting seated using off-hand support, no bipod. Was only my second trip out with the rifle but I'm definitely cleaning up the spread a bit.

I've been thinking about putting that exact set-up on my Bushmaster. It looks great, thanks for the pics. I put a Timney trigger in mine last year that really made a big difference. I think the PRS and Accu-shot would round it out nicely. Where did you pick yours up?

Ordered the Monopod direct from Accushot. They have great customer service and fast shipping. It showed up in three days. I have three of them now and an Atlas Bipod.

Joebob Outfitters had the best price around on the PRS, MAGPUL PRS AR15/M16 stock
