Im considering building another SBR. If you had the 2 to choose from, which would you pick?
Im leaning toward 9mm in an effort to consolidate calibers. But I can see the appeal of having it in 45.

    Suppressed or unsuppressed?

If suppressed the MPX's gas system can be an annoyance to your eyeballs. .45 is a good cartridge for a can. The Vector will take G21 mags and the longer 22 round 45acp Glock mags in addition to their own 25 rounders. The MPX mags can be pricey.

The Vector has a lot of plastic in its construction and obviously looks kinda space age-ish. Ammo costs will be pretty close

Im leaning towards the Vector. I will be using the Mystic X can that should be getting its stamp at the end of this month or next. Don't even think Im going to SBR it. Might just run it as a suppressed pistol. My only gripe is that there is no forward grip. I hate that it would cost me $200 just to put a grip on it.

I second this ^. I have an SBR'd MPX in my trust and shooting it suppressed is a lot like doing it doggie style with a gassy girl. Every time you start to enjoy yourself, you get a big puff of gas right in your eyeball. It's almost like it bypasses everything else and aims RIGHT for your eye. 9mm is quieter than .45... If Kriss ever decides to do a 9mm version of their Vector, I'd get that.

Don't get me wrong, though. Shooting the MPX is a chub inducing experience. Just remember what I said about suppressing. If you don't want to suppress, don't even consider the Kriss.

    They do make a 9MM.

Had a thought about this. Cant I just swap out a 9mm upper with my already SBR stamped MCX lower?

Do they make a mag block to convert to 9mm mags?

That would be the only issue...

Also, MCX doesn't have a buffer or recoil spring. So.... Don't think its going to work.
