I've already get the ones in my range bag out when I use it. My problem is in testing the sharpness of the blades I've just sharpened. I've already went through a box of Band Aids . Every other finger has a poke or a slice on it so...It works really well.....I can't hold a cup of coffee.....but it works really well.....;)

After trying a buddy's, I also picked up the Ken Onion worksharp system.... it's pretty good, although more than just a quick run-through just before carving a turkey or something. I use a small sharpener like this just to do a quick touch-up and have been happy with that.

    Smith's PP1 Pocket Pal Multifunction Sharpener, Grey - Sharpening Stones - Amazon.com

But, will agree, for more thorough sharpening, the WSKTS really does a good job.

I've got one, and it does a great job. Possibly the best a person could do, but it's time consuming. I use it for knives I want to impress folks with their sharpness.

But truth be told, I use a Spyderco Tri-Angle sharpener on my every day knives and kitchen knives most of the time.

I've got the Ken Onion unit as well and use it on a semi regular basis.

I'm still using a german steel....

God I wish, it'd take the concern out of raw dogging strange.

Nah, I've got probably a 300 degree labrum tear in my left shoulder, osteoarthrisis in it and probably close to bone on bone contact.

I don't have one myself yet but they were at a local sportsman show and sharpened the knife I had on me. I thought I had a really sharp edge on it already but they took it to a whole other level and it held the edge for quite some time before needing to be touched up.
