I was taking a show tonight and I was wandering, how come there are not more combat pictures of females in Iraq/Afghanistan?
I was over on the "TeenChat!" or what I like to call ar15.com, and they had a great thread of military photos of current and past engagements. And with a war, such as what we are doing in Iraq/Afghanistan, where there are no clearly defined front lines, I thought I would see more pictures of female soldiers in operations. Anyone else have this reasoning? Just wondering..

I would think the media would try to make a big deal out of the female warrior, but nobody wants to be counter-cultural.

Our society has begun to demonize the warrior caste. Showcase a female warrior? Blasphemy!
