The principals are the same for Imageshack or other pic hosting sites.

Start your new thread or post on exisiting thread.

Select your uploaded pic from photobucket. Once you've done that put the mouse pointer on the pic and you will get a window pop up under the pic you selected. Move your mouse to the window and click on the Direct Link "copied" will replace the url after about a second it will go back to the url. You now have the file location copied to your clipboard.

Below is what you will see when the link is being copied.

Once the file is copied to the clipboard it will go back to something similar to this.
Go back to XDTalk thread and click on the yellow "landscape" icon.

A link window will pop up. Click in the link box.

Right click your mouse button and select past. The link URL will show up.

Click OK and the picture will show up in you post.

If you need instructions for uploading pics to photobucket post and I'll add them here.

Thanks for the tips. I've even made it easier for people to post pictures.

It's actually easier than you have made it out too be. See in the above picture where it say's IMG CODE?

Copy that, and then in the reply window on XDTalk, simply 'paste' that code. The picture will show up as long as your photobucket account is active, and you have that picture in it.

    It will look like this:

********I removed the [ that would go right here -->IMG]http://i653.photobucket.com/albums/uu259/anonpix_photo/P9190211.jpg[/IMG]

With the code intact you see this:

And yes...that is one of my guns. Enjoy.

so where the hell is it???
the one for pictures has a link, not how to use it.

better yet why don't we see them all in one place, in your face type of deal

no wonder, no one can find them, the FAQ is blank nothing more than another search function, that needs to be googled.

sorry I don't search individual categories, instead of having them available for new members ease of finding them.

    so in other words................ YES

For anyone using Picassa here's an easy way to post pictures to XDTalk. In Picasa select the picture you want to upload to XDTalk (double click to bring up that image only). Left click the picture and select "Copy Image Location", copy it, and then go to your XDTalk message and click the landscape image and paste the image location.
