I bought a Stag arms AR 15 model 2T. It came with a F front sight attached to the barrel and i would like to put on a flip up front sight that attaches to the hand rails. I don't see how it is attached though i see a few pins on the bottom of the barrel but nothing to loosen it up to slide it off. Can any1 help me so i don't mess something up trying to do this?

This is no small task. You will need the ability to remove your flash suppressor to be able to slide the front sight off. I believe two of the pins are holding the sight in place and one is holding the gas tube in place. You will need to purchase a new gas block--either with built in rail or built in flip sight. Brownells has a nice little video on front sight removal:

Remember front site is also a gas block, so if you remove it you must have a gas block in it's place. Some of the FSB is on their tight, and like yxd says, you have to take off the FSB to slide it off. An option is just to chop it down. There is an article on arfcom how to do it.

You have to remove the gas tube roll pin, the two FSB pins, (taper pins only come out/go in one way, straight pins come out either way), and take off your muzzle device to slide the FSB off. You will still need a gas block, or as has been said already, you can shave down your FSB, and refinish it, or send it to someplace like ADCO, and they will do a shave/refinish for you, or fit a new gas block if you so choose.
