    That's a great find. The article in the OP has a link to the original research paper.
    Three points to note: First, the paper was published in the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, but it is not a 'Harvard study.' The authors work at the Pacific Research Institute and Simon Fraser University. Second, it was published six years ago. Finally, Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy is a peer-reviewed publication.

    Thanks for posting the link to the original paper. BTW it is only 46 pages and 1/2 is references etc.

    Yes it is published in the Journal but that means it was (as you pointed out) it was peer-reviewed. Also her is a link to the CDC report. You have to log on to download but no cost. Priorities for Research to Reduce the Threat of Firearm-Related Violence
