There are so many good polymer framed, striker fired pistols out there.

    VP9/40
    PPQ
    RAP9/45
    P320
    SR9/40/45
    G17/G19
    TP9SF
    XD9/40/45
I'm sure there are MANY others.

With the way prices on .40S&W guns are falling, look at one of them.

My BP9CC pinched the bottom of my trigger finger between the trigger and the trigger guard when I got it. I dremeled the trigger guard about .010 and used "less finger." With this technique I cannot make it pinch.

I like Berettas; I don't consider myself a "Beretta guy," but at one point I had five, and I still have 4. The APX looks very interesting.

I've read up enough and talked to more knowledgeable friends to be convinced the pinching issue is 0% APX and 100% user. Having my finger contact the trigger in a more correct spot eliminates the issue, and I'm fairly certain is keeping the muzzle a little more steady on trigger pulls. I'm a big guy so it was easy for me to give it too much trigger finger, just hate that it's taken me this long to catch it. Now trying to correct my muscle memory.

Unless the P-10c or 320 X-Carry change my mind once I get them in hand, the APX is easily my favorite of the strikers at the moment. Just hope it doesn't become a niche gun, as it seems to be one of those people hate until they actually try it. Would be nice to eventually see a good market for holsters, sights, etc.

I'm going to order new sights for mine as soon as Beretta gets them back in stock.

The VP9 pinched my finger, the Beretta doesn't fwiw
