very likely another mall ninja round. it did seem to get good penetration through the gel and the breakaway pieces are interesting but with the design i can only imagine there are tons of feeding issues. also prob $1+ per round.

As far as feeding issues go. I agree with you, but did you see the rounds cycling through the automatic Glock. Unbelievable. (Don't know what model that is)

The company is located about 20 miles from me. Be interesting to see if it EVER shows up in stores around here.

They list that they will be distributing to some companies. I checked around but couldn't find any anywhere

Interesting for sure. I could maybe see using these in a .380 in place of FMJs. Maybe get the penetration similar to a FMJ along with expansion of a HP at entry by use of the breakaway tips. I'd hate to see the results of a misplaced shot in a public area though. It seems the shrapnel would be sent in multiple directions, causing injury to bystanders that would not of been in the line of fire with a traditional bullet.

On their site they claim it doesn't expand and break apart until in the correct medium such as ballistic gel or flesh I suppose. They shoot the cinder block and it appears to only leave a single thru hole. They also claim to have cycled it through a ton of different calibers, pistol and rifle without 1 FTF. I don't believe that at all.

if its auto it pretty much has to be a glock 18. i was surprised to see it feeding through there quite so well at such a high rate of fire. I guess we can all hope that this is the next best thing but im certainly not holding my breath. until we get some prices and 3rd party testing proving it otherwise, i pretty much have to consider it a gimmick round.

Wait'll the politicians get ahold of this one. It's 100X worse than ANY Black Talon ever made. It might kill 10 people with 1 shot! Look out!

I would be worried about over penetration issues with these. Also they are over $2 a bullet, $46 for 20 rounds.

I would stick to hollow points that are proven and never buy carry ammo unless it has been around for a little while.
