I'm fairly new to the Ak world, so I lack the experience in this area. I'm not sure how far my AK should be throwing the casings.
I went out shooting with a friend today. He brought the AR that he recently finished building and I brought my new Arsenal slr-107fr. We needed to pick up our casings, so this was the first time that I really paid attention to where they went. His rifle was spitting out his 5.56x45 brass about 6-7 feet and my AK was throwing the 7.62x39 cases about 25 feet or so.
Is this a normal distance for this type of rifle or is it a little bit over-gassed?
