I think it's interesting that some people don't think either exist. I got one believe in Aliens. But I'm on the fence about Bigfoot. But there must be something that has so many people convinced.

Aliens yes, but Bigfoot not really since they haven't found one yet after all these years.

I think it's pretty damn arrogant to believe that we're going the only intelligent, technological species in the whole universe...hell, even in the galaxy.

    OTOH:

...Simple mathematics tells us that the population of the Universe must be zero. Why? Well given that the volume of the universe is infinite there must be an infinite number of worlds. But not all of them are populated; therefore only a finite number are. Any finite number divided by infinity is zero, therefore the average population of the Universe is zero, and so the total population must be zero.

Yes there are aliens. And we seemed to be programmed to elect them to public office.

Other civilizations existing in the universe ? , definitely. Two reaching the sophisticated level of sending a signal and being able to receive one at the same exact time or as long as light/data/signal takes to travel there? Less likely. We've only been lookin a short time also though. Considering most civilaztikns probably destroy themselves in all likelihood after they've discovered splitting atoms w/I a relativelquick amount of time interrupting any signal transmission tha would've been discovered.
It Would be cool to have a database on entire regions of stats like that. Maybe in 10,000 years, if we make it that long we would have something put an encyclopedia together.

Also the further time progresses the further and faster things are accelerating away from one another. Eventually everything will be moving at the speed of light away and matter will exist only in isolated islands . Way way far away if current popular models hold true. Almost never.
