****'s has a sneak preview of their Black Friday deals, first page on the bottom right is a coupon for Buy One Get One 50% off.

Dick's Sporting Goods - Weekly Ads & Catalogs

Never bought ammo at ****'s before, anyone know how their prices run? They don't list them online :(

They also have some guns on sale as well. Have fun!

Thanks for the heads up... unfortunately the Dicks in my area has ammo priced twice as high as anyone else, so it would only be a good deal if it was buy one get one free...

I bought 100 rounds of WWB 45acp 230 grain today for 39.99 about 5 dollars more than Wal-mart. But you could get 200 rounds of 45.acp for 60.00

Only problem there is that Wally's has to have the items in stock. Now, if i was after rifle ammo or shootgun, I'd be in tall cotton. However, i am on a never ending quest for certain calibers of pistol ammo at the 6 local walmorts. None have .380. one or two may get in a single box of .357 Sig or .38. They all keep .40, but have not seen UMC Mega packs lately. There is the odd box of .45 and the obligatory box of .44 mag that each one maintains. 9mm comes around frquently, even the $9.47 a box Federal.

Dicks here is high also and stocks well most everything except .357 Sig and .380

I bought 2 boxes of WWB JHPs at Dick's using this deal. Not my preferred SD round, but 100 rounds of 9mm JHP for $30 (plus tax) isn't bad.

I picked some stuff up on black friday.

2x boxes of ultramax .223 55gr FMJ marked down from $70 to $55, then with the deal it came to $.275/rd, not bad for brass cased .223 that is generally more accurate then most factory loads.

2x boxes of winchester 100rd 9mm 115gr $30 for the first box, $15 for the second, coming to $.225/rd

A couple of years ago a buddy of mine was at that same sale. The sales girl just had a price gun and was remarking every other box of ammo in his basket. He just had her mark twice as much ammo as he wanted and put the unmarked ammo back on the shelf before he checked out.

Do you mean you got 100 rounds for $55.00?

If so, you paid $.55 per round not .275.

    don

The ultramax boxes of 55fmj .223 are 150rd.

    two boxes = 300 rounds

    $55 +27.5/300 =.275/rd
