I'll be taking my courses to get a CHL here before too long, but right now I'm trying to figure out the best option for a concealed carry for a big/fat dude :)

so big guys, how do you carry concealed?

I'm pretty big and i find it makes it easier. I am 5'11" @260(i think im dropoping, but anyway) and i carry IWB at 8-8:30(left handed). My big a$$ makes for excellent cover lol.
If i carry in front of my waistband my gut hangs out enough to push my shirt away from printing. This is not comfortable when sitting, but it covers well.

Big guys usually have a good little pocket in the small of thier back where you can easily fit a IWB holster, thats what I do ant it works well.

The Crossbreed SOB is a good choice. It's pretty comfortable.

being a chubby fella myself, I go with a Galco IWB Stow-N-Go with my XD Subbie at 3:00. Very comfy, and still easy to draw from.

I have been tempted to go with OWB and some sort of vest, but that just screams "Hi! I have a Firearm!" to me...

At 5'11'' 205 lbs, me likes the bellyband. Although it's only practical for about half the year because of weather. I also keep a knife in one of the two mag pockets. Unfortunately, I can't stand anything stuck inside my waistband, so the warmer months are a bit more tricky for me.

How about cc for a chubby woman? I have this hip problem LOL, but I guess a big woman can just wear a very loose dark shirt, right?

Sorry Wolf Lady. Whwen i did a search for "Fat guy concealment", it also came up with 2 (?) threads by/for women, about concealment. I'd look them back up for you, but I have just enough time to post this, before I finish up for the day & go home (no home intrawebby :( ).

Loose ten lbs, and then you don't have to change pant sizes for carrying. I'm simple like that.
