I'm thinking of buying through a third party (Midway USA) because they have the holster I want at the same price as buying direct, and they have it in stock, so I wouldn't have to wait 4 weeks or so to get my holster.

My question is, does this affect the warranty in any way? I don't imagine that it does, but you never know.

Of course, my CCW application likely won't be approved for another 10 days or so, and I saw that there was going to be a new Blemish thread in early January, so I may wait and see what they've got there first.

should be no issue, you are purchasing from a authorized dealer.

Hell I didn't know Mark was selling through Midway, however I think it would be better to buy direct from Mark. He most likely makes more that away. Plus he gives you a 10% NRA discount.

    I'm not an NRA member.

That aside, since the price is the same, the only thing differing on my end between ordering from Midway and Direct from Crossbreed, is the delivery time. Have it shipped out next day, or 4 weeks from now...

I wouldn't be opposed to waiting a touch longer to patronize the actual maker of the item (thus, he gets more profit), but weeks longer overrides that sense of "full" patronage. Call me superstitious, but I don't want to order the holster 'til the sheriff tells me I'm approved. And then I don't want to wait near a month.

And I don't begrudge that it takes 3 - 4 weeks from order date to get your holster direct from Crossbreed. That's the nature of a small specialty business. Someone else just had the insight to stock up.

FYI they are running about 2 weeks average, he also give military,Fire and Police 10%. Then my other question is why are you not a member of the NRA?

Haven't gotten around to it, and I don't particularly like their selective support of gun rights, and many of their legislative "wins" have actually been losses, of our rights.

What wins have we lost rights in? D.C., Chicago? While they don't have carry yet they can now own a gun that is a step in the right direction. Secondly the NRA is not the ILA. When you join the NRA you are supporting gun safety, and training. Plus you get a pretty good magazine.

Keep it on topic fellas. This is not the thread in which to debate the pros and cons of the NRA

As to ordering from Midway, we still honor the lifetime warranty, but the two week try it free guarantee or whatever refund policy they have is up to Midway, not me.

Same story for all dealers, they are responsible for returns and refunds. We will take care of warranty issues.

Well, now it's a moot point. Midway is out of the model I wanted.

Well, that settles it...Order it from Mark; direct from Crossbreed...I have ordered 3 from him, and none have taken anywhere near the 4 weeks quoted. I think mine have all been in the 10-14 day window.
