What is real world thoughts on this? Please not just opinions.. Thinking of a Bond .45 I've not done much research on this manufacture as of yet. Open to real world situations, sometimes this option could be the only real world back-up not just a back-up the back-up hope this isn't confusing .. Thank you

Bond .45 derringers are big and fairly heavy. They're also SA, meaning you have to remember to cock them.

I'd say a BUBUG best option would a lightweight snub revolver.

Have you looked at the original American derringer45/410. Very Compact . But as cudda has said you gotta remember to cock it.

    A good fixed blade.

I'm not carrying half the collection in my pants. There's only so much room.

    But, seriously...

I've carried 4 J-frames at the same time, just to see how it went...it really wasn't obvious.

    2" 649 AIWB
    3" 36 OWB 4:00
    2" 36 IWB 9:00
    2" 640 front left pocket

Cargo shorts, t-shirt with an open Madras-print shirt as a cover.

And these were all steel revolvers. It wasn't that bad.
