i sort of have one. what i have is a DPMS lower with a stag LPK and a STAG 2HT upper which is the same upper in that review. its been perfect thus far and comes with samson FF rails, F-Marked FSB ARMS 40L rear flip up sight, and a chrome lined barrel and chamber,

A buddy of mine has one... Well, not exactly the Model 2T but a STAG, and he's never had any issues with it.

Some of you may have already seen his rifles.

I also owned a 2HT upper and had no problems with it after many hundreds of rounds. My only gripe was the carrier gas key not being properly staked but that was an easy fix. A Stag rifle will do well for you.

Stewie, what's the barrel and hand guard length on your friends Stag? I just ordered a Stag 2T, should be here in a couple of weeks. I had them remove the FSB and replace it with a low-profile gas block. I'm thinking of changing out the Carbine length hand guard for either a mid or rifle length Samson Star-{M|R} or Daniel Defense Lite-Rail. I'm trying to get an idea of the proportions of a mid-length and rifle length handguard in relation to a 16" barrel.

When it comes in I'll give you my impressions. I also read god things about it, initially it was between Stag and RRA.

    808, I believe it's a 16" carbine gas-system with a Larue 10" handguard rail system.

Yes and I love this rifle. Lifetime Warranty also makes it a good choice.

    Next purchase is EOTECH.

I have the upper on an Anvil Arms lower and I have been happy so far. Few hundred rounds through it, no issues so far.

I bought the stag 2t a few months back and love it. Only have about 300-400 rounds thru it so far. problem is after you buy 1 you seem to spend alot of money on accessories. guess thats the downfall of guns. i had 1 ftf in the first or second round shooting but that may have been something sticky from being new. i later tried the same round and it fired np. was a bit scary though since i'm pretty sure it was the first shot and thinking damn i got a lemon. but it took off after that and is a nice shooter. I'd post a pic but i don't know where to post pics to link them in here.
