Hey guys from Md. I just bought my XD-M and though I loved the look of the gun already, i've polished aluminum on the side for a few years. Anyway, I did the sides, but not the top so I didn't get any glare in my view. Here's the slide.. I did the barrel as well. It's hard to get the right pic so I took several to try to catch the right lighting.

Thanks man.. well it took a lot of patience, sanding and compounding ... I just tried a lot of things to get it to finally come out. Like I said though... i've had a lot of experience in polishing aluminum as a side job so that helped me a lot with the different steps.

Because it's what I like... if you don't that's fine... don't do it to yours.
