I have regularly shot shotgun shells at 100 yards with both of these rifles. Both rifles are for fun.

The floating barrel keeps the barrel from being influenced by pressure on the stock or if a shooting sling is used as well as rests and bipods. It can also allow for the barrel to cool evenly.

Never shot any competition with mine but when the conditions are ideal, I shoot a little under 1/2 inch at 50 yards and about 1 1/2" at 100. Furthest I've shot is 150 yards but never shot any groups, just rabbits.

    Fun little guns.

Just a Fajen or Boyd's stock, not too sure, and a clerke barrel. I've done some trigger work, installed a different trigger, and have a 8-32x50 mil dot on it.

Tossing around a few ideas for a tacticool project next. Not too sure what's in the works there...
If you don't have one, get one. If you have one, get another.:D

Here's mine... built it several years ago. Butler Creek fluted/compensated bbl, Boyd stock w/hand rubbed tung oil finish, Volquartsen trigger upgrades and more money invested into it than I'd ever have a prayer of getting out of it! :D

Yeah, if you're not careful you'll end up with several that beg for modifications.
Toppers, is that TI mag pretty reliable? I was looking at getting one but they're pretty steep.

XD4life-I've got a brand new regular black Hogue rubber stock for sale if you're interested. PM me for details.

It is from a place called Dixie Consolidated.
    http://www.dixieconsolidated.com/what_is.html

I got it about 2 years ago now and shooting it is some of the most fun i can have all day for so cheap. :D It has a butler creek carbon fiber barrel w/comp. It's not what i would call a tack driver but it will put 25 rounds on a paper plate at 10m yards as fast as you can pull the trigger. It is a little rear heavy due to the carbon fiber barrel I am thinking about replacing it when iIget the funds. The trigger is fully adjustable and very smooth if not a little long. :D The guys at DC are really great they answered all my questions before I purchased it and it shipped within a week. If you are looking for something really fun I highly recommend one of these.
