I believe the wait was worth it... We took a bit longer to ensure the final product was worthy. The final XD extended slide release is now complete and available for purchase from the XDGuys. Limited quantities. First come, first served.
Here are some shots taken today... ![]() ![]() The pic of the gun racked open also shows one of Don's Guide Rods installed. If interested in that, it is available here. By the way, check out the new XD(M)! Rich picked it up last week. Thanks all and have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Slick...just placed my order
My wifes thumb is just a little small to operate the OE release, and I expect I might like a extended release even though I have orangutan style thumbs.... |

Any chance of being able to pick up some "old" OEM slide release and/or takedown levers from the XDm to use in a regular XD?

OK guys & gals.... We've thought it over.... The "core" charge is no more. This will just be a "limited run". When they are out, they are out. It would have been quite a hassle logistically anyway! We want to bring this out in the best way possible and, this is it!
So... $42.99 + standard shipping is all she costs! We have a proposition for you all that may still keep us stocked in oem slide stops: * Return your original oem slide stop to us (in usable condition) and we will give you a $10 credit for a future purchase at XDguys. How does this sound??? (We're flying by the seat of our pants on this one, so let us know). Chow, Eric

If we get this oem fiasco straightened out with Springfield the price will likely drop some, but right now, those stops are a bear to get!
