+2 I would like to see a video of the take-up, as well. Seems like this kit more or less only lightens the trigger pull and isn't a noticeable difference in changing the take-up.

Here is the link to the trigger kits they have online:

E-mail sent.
I'd like one for an XD9SC.

Thanks,

If you are using the Power River safety lever then you can't use the sear with it. They both have a modified trigger bar engagement lug and combined they would have way to much. The spring set would result in a drop in the trigger pull weight. The spring set is available separately.

Understood. I wasn't going to use both of them. Just trying out different options since the prices were good. And it gives me an excuse to buy a 3rd XD .

The PR safety lever with the modified engagement lug allows you to use a drop in part to shorten the takeup at a very nice price. Combined with a spring set you can create a very nice carry trigger package that is basicially a drop in kit. The sear kit that XD Guys is offering has a few added advantages which include an improved sear/striker engagement surface that allows for a cleaner sear break and lighter trigger pull weight. It is also lighter then the stock sear which allows you to run a lighter sear spring weight to further reduce trigger pull weight. It still allows for the reduction in trigger take up like the PR lever does. It normally costs more then the PR lever so this sale makes it a great deal.

If you are only looking for a reduction in trigger take up the PR lever is a great product at an excellent price. By adding a trigger bar you can reduce the take up even further AND reduce overtravel/reset as well. But if you are also looking to dramaticially drop the trigger pull weight then the sear (with springs) is the best way to go. Besides, anything that makes you need another XD is a good thing, right?

What is the status on this?

I will be off-line all next week. So I'm kind of wondering.
