hey Jigman586, your video is great... I watched it a few times and then took mine apart and put it back together. Anyone can do this themselves, just be careful that the sear spring doesn't go flying off into the next room when you disassemble it.

Thanks,

Here is a direct link to the video on Youtube:

and mine shipped out yesterday!!!!!!!

Thanks TMP.Ill be using it to install my sear and spring kit also. I thought about getting a kit for my XD SC but i think for legallity sake i will not mess with the stock trigger on my carry gun.I think that it would be like pouring gas on the fire if i ever had shoot someone with it.

More youtube vids for the trigger spring part of this kit:

disassembly:
YouTube - Introducing the Springfield XD pistol (part 4)

assembly:
YouTube - Springfield Armory XD trigger bar Reassembly.

None of this looks very hard. I have never gone farther than field stripping until seeing these vids.

Removing the takedown lever on a XDsc is a little different

One more thing for anyone with a XDsc.. the take down lever does not rotate beyound the straight up position.

To get it out, rotate it back forward about half way and pull it thru half way. Keep rotating it down and around to pull it out the rest of the way.

Found a funny lil envelope on my doorstep this evening. Looks like I'll be doing the install once the kiddies go to bed. I'll post later on how it feels.

Thanks guys for great service.

Got my kit today in the mail. Installed it already. Easy to do. Went to the range and put 50 rounds thru it. Noticeable difference for me. It kind of caught me off guard a little bit but I like it. Well worth the $$. Hoping that it helps with my groupings.
