What types of firearms related items does PayPal prohibit?

Question : Answer : PayPal prohibits all account holders from buying or selling any type of firearm and certain firearm parts and ammunition. PayPal may allow certain U.S. merchants to sell items addressed by this policy if they have been approved by PayPal and can ensure transactions and shipments comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Firearms – Include all rifles, shotguns, and handguns, whether they are intended for use in sporting, as collectibles, or as curio and relic firearms. These items are prohibited regardless of their present working order.

Firearm parts - Include, but are not limited to, receivers and frames, silencers, kits designed to convert a firearm to automatic firing capability, high capacity magazines, multi-burst trigger activators, and camouflaging firearm containers.

Ammunition - Includes ammunition with propellant, such as gunpowder or blank ammunition. Ammunition is defined as ammunition or cartridge cases, primers, bullets, or propellant powder designed for any firearm.

Stun guns - For U.S. residents, PayPal allows transactions for stun guns only if the transaction is permitted by law in both the buyer's and seller's jurisdictions. U.S. sellers must ensure that each transaction is legal in both locations before completing the sale. Transactions for stun guns involving account holders outside the U.S. are prohibited.

Other Related Items – PayPal allows transactions for paintball guns, blank guns, and air-soft guns as permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction. These items must display all markings required by law, must not be convertible to shoot a lethal projectile, and must not include blank ammunition.

What the hell is this nation coming to? I mean banning ads with the words gun, ammo, gun parts, freedom, liberty, justice what's next???? They should be banning words like Al Qaeda, Jihad, Martyr not American liberties like guns and apple pie, damn googlecommies. We should start our own search engine with liberties for all and freedom to search whatever the hell you feel like searching, flying chocolate monkeys and AK's? BAM, 12 pages... Harry Potter and the Governor of California? BAM, 10 pages!

I did fire up (no pun intended) a campaign with Lycos. After looking at their policy on weapons... It is a bit grey. Let me know what you interpret this as:
Quote:
Weapons/Explosives
Sites that offer or promote automatic weapons, military-style assault weapons, or parts or accessories of these weapons are not acceptable. Sites that promote or distribute "firearms" or "destructive devices" as defined in the National Firearm Act or the Gun Control Act are not acceptable. Sites offering or promoting switchblades, automatic knives, tactical knives and edge weapons are generally not acceptable.
Sites offering or promoting antique guns, swords and other weapons for display (and not for use) are acceptable.
Sites that provide assistance for making explosive devices are not acceptable.
Sites that offer or distribute fireworks, pyrotechnic or other devices are not acceptable.
I don't see reference to gun parts and accessories for standard guns, only
Quote:
automatic weapons, military-style assult weapons, or parts or accessories of these weapons
Time will tell if we are safe at Lycos or not.

As a side note, that is an interesting spin that Paypal takes requiring approval...
Like I said earlier, and TacoMalo said too, we should come up with our own search engine specifically for gun related goods... Maybe we could call it: Boomoole (hehe)
Bidah, what is Teoma? An advertising company of some kind?

I dumped Paypal in favor of GearPay... No issues with them up to this point.

No problem man. I'm sorry I brought it up. Just goofing around a little bit.
