I figured there would be more entries by this time. I doubt mine stands much of a chance. It's getting ugly but I am afraid not that ugly and the thin spots in the finish don't really show up in my picture. None-the-less here it is.

Sandpaper, hammers, dragging them through the rock and dirt is fine, just hope you win I would hate for anyone to ruin a perfectly good XD though.

now why did you have to say that!!!
i wish i had a pre-melonite one it wouldnt even be a question then.

since mince only have a couple scratches i think i will save my xd from a sanding and leave this to the people whose xd's need it

I have one of the earlier XD's and the coating SUCKS holster wear is bad and the slide has lightened up in color I ended up polishing the barrel because it was so worn looking ANyway heres mine
