Arredondo 9mm/40 base pads 21 rounds :) UPDATED
OK, just got the demo pad and at first look, I think I'll get a bunch of these if they work as well as it looks like they will. The base pad retails for $16 and fit the gun the same way the stock pad does, it just increases the length of the magazine. Very easy to install and remove for cleaning.
140mm legal and it holds 21, yes 21 rounds of 9mm on the 16 round factory mag with the stock spring. I will try it at the range in the next couple of days to see if it works loaded to 21 rounds so I can update the thread. It is nice to see new products out of the pipline and on the market. I'll have these base pads in stock next week if the test firing goes well.

How many 40S&W will it hold using a standard 12 round body and follower? How close to the 140mm length is it?
Thanks mcb |

Are these the .40 +2 that you're talking about?
I just got the two I ordered today and they don't look like they'd get you 5 more 9mm. Gonna run the new .40 with them in this Sat, just to see how they affect feeding.

They are at 140mm. I got 21 in mine but it won't lock in with the slide closed.

All of my 16 rounders will hold 17, so I would say +4 and they seat easily with the side closed. I did 10 loads to 21 rounds and empting by hand cycling the gun as fast as I can to unload it. It no failures of any kind.
I just got done checking the .40 and it looks like they are really +3 in .40, for a total of 15 .40. Ralph said they were testing them on 15 rounders with the holes cut out (I am not saying the testing occured in Kali), so maybe the 16's have more room. I'll check that out when I get the chance to hack up some 15 rounders. I'm checking in with him in the morning and going to tell him my findings, so you might see a change on the capacity on the website soon. That is the bummer doing R&D in Kali, the mag laws are sad.

Nope, still on order, I'll have a NHO magwell in a couple weeks to test them with too. They might be compatible with some minor modifcations, which I will offer if they work well for those who don't like to have to modify their gear.
I spoke with him today and they have a basepad coming out soon and I'll review it when I get it. It sounds like good part too, but another price point.

I just checked, and I was able to get 15 .40's in there. I had to smack it lighltly to get it to seat, but it did.
