I just answered this for myself - found out that it DOES fit PERFECTLY on the magazine, but the plastic lip above the mag's groove on the bottom is too thick. I tried dremel sanding off the thin portion that tapered to the mag's body, but it was still too thick to get the mag to seat into the pistol.

I didn't want to sand any further, otherwise I would risk the bottom popping off the magazine when I loaded it to max capacity.

If anyone from Arredondo is reading this - a slight alteration to the design would make this work perfectly for a Beretta!!!!

Any update on the problem of slide not locking back?

Hi -

A couple of folks here indicated that trying a replacement spring marketed for the Glock 17 would address the issue of the slide not locking back after the last shot when using these baseplates. Any updates on that?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for addressing this problem? I use the baseplates for my XD-9. They worked great for a while, but the last time I was at the range, all 3 mags failed to lock the slide back after the 21st shot.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

These wolf springs only work with the 10rd magazines and the 15 round 9mm magazines. They do not work with the followers in the 12rd 40 and 16rd 9mm magazines. Glock 17 spring from ISMI work pretty good in those magazines.

Hmmm, I have 6 sets of mags with Wolff springs and Arrendondo basepads that do lock the slide...

I use them for test firing, so they have a few rounds through them too.

Do the Wolff springs you use have the four narrow coils that go up into the followers? The Wolff springs I purchased did not have the narrow coils at the top and thus did not fit properly into my 12rd XD-40 magazine followers. The 10rd and 15rd 9mm magazines use springs where all the coils are the same width. It would be great if they did but I haven't see them yet.

Nice. I sent you a PM Agliando, but in case you didn't see it I'd love to know exactly which springs you bought - I tried bending my factory spring end tip, but it only locks the slide back about 50% of the time.

Oh - and where did you get them? Thanks!

I ordered the Wolf 10 round springs 15% , I think they are misslabeled because the look just like my 12round spring.
