Well, I used mine today and I'm happy to report that I was able to run them at 15 rounds all day without any problems! Shot about ~150 rounds on 5 stages.

Any ideas if there is a HKS speedloader that works with a XD9 or XD40 mag with a Arredondo base pad attached? A 452 will work length-wise, however, it is built for the deeper and wider double stack 45 mags.

21 rounds of 9 in my 16rd tube. I'm curious if there's something I can do to make just a tad bit easier loading of the 21st round? Is the follower bottoming out causing the 21st to be harder?

I have no idea on reliability but if these are reliable, Arrendondo will sell a ****load of these!!!

I have Arredondo base pads I've been using for 8 years...

Just press hard, the spring is fully compressed at that point.

Do your mags buldge at anything over 18 rounds to the point they're not drop-free? At 19-20-21 rounds the mag drops about 2 inches then I have to remove it.

A slight inconvenience compared to a 16+1 reload.

Pull the trigger a few times and the problem is fixed. Mine drop fine.

So the point in reloading a full mag is... I couldn't resist.

Empty mags fall the best, sometimes I get a hang-up with only loading 10 to start reloading after only shooting 4-6 rounds.

It takes some "nerves" to ask a vendor for help right after telling them you are sending their gun for work to another vendor

What would you want to see in a basepad video?

I need to get the disasembly one done first.

I plan to make my stage plans in according to the magazine. If I'm only going to need 10 or 12 rounds before a reload, I'll shoot regular hicaps.

No use dropping a magazine that weighs 1/3lb on your brand new $22 basepad. I'd imagine there's some fairly good pressure on the grooves that the magazine slides into and I want this sucker to last a long time.
