Range report:

1. Worked perfectly using stock 16 round mags and stock spring holding 21 rounds of 9mm. 15 round worked in the .40.
2. 22 rounds (started with one in the pipe and 21 in the magazine) exited the barrel with no malfunctions or noticable difference in operation in 3.96 seconds in a rapid fire test. (it is fun, but not easy to keep up a good pace on one target for 22 rounds)
3. They reloaded nicely and no changed to mag puches were needed to accomodate the base pads.
4. For $16 each I'm buying a bunch for my girlfriend to shoot limited minor. Maybe know she will have a few extra rounds she will join us at matches and enjoy it more.

I also to them to the local big gun store and all the guys there loved them, no ugly comment from a bunch of real men. They are going to be selling the heck out of them I'm sure. I think I already have 100 of them sold to the stores in the local area. They are slick.

It will take some fitting to get the Arredondo basepads to work with the Bar-Sto magwell, as the top rear corners of the basepad contact the magwell with the mag about 1/4" from being seated. It looks to be a plausible mod, although I'm not going to hack up the basepads until I make a decision whether to go with the Bar-Sto (on hand) or NHO magwell (on order).

I got curious enough I ordered one too straight from Arrendondo. Approx how long did it take to get yours? I ordered mine Monday (10/9) and it still shows status as "Recieved" with no ship date.

Took 3 days, but I'm not that far away. RA is at the Nats, so he will be back Monday.

Thanks for the info. I have a NHO on oder, so I'll wait and see how that fits together.

Would've been nice if they had posted that on their site. Unfortunately Chuck doesn't carry it or I would've ordered from him and gotten overnight shipping via UPS ground! Heh

Post a photo with the mag guts seperate? I'm curious now how it works

It just slides right on. There is a different plate on the bottom that the spring threads through to keep it from sliding off, and a nice semi circle in the plate so you can push it straight up.
