Brinks home security commercials....

i'm watching a show that is LOADED with Brinks home security commercials.

Talk about a total emotional plea. Every sing one is a single woman, or a woman with a female kid, home alone, at night, and having a door kicked in by a white male.

if they'd just do what i do and keep a gun with them at all times they wouldn't need the alarm

I have set off our BRINKS alarm at work a few times. Trust me, they dont call as soon as the alarm goes off.
Besides, when the door is opened, the alarm gives you a couple minutes to shut it off. so you got a good three or four minutes between opening a door and initial contact.

thats what you do when you sell these systems. you paint pictures in peoples heads that they never wanted to see and toy with their emotions. it sucks, but its reality and its how you write deals!

The security system is probably only good when the break-in takes place while no one is home. Anybody who relies on the system to save his/her life from a very determined intruder in a home invasion encounter is going to be very disappointed.

I've had a Brinks system at home for a long time.
I only keep it to wake me up if someone breaks in at night and because of the heat/smoke detectors on both levels and both garages.
The police here pretty much don't come to alarms anymore, but the fire department DOES.

the alarm at my old job would go off for 2 minutes. then guardian would call the store. if no one answered, they would try the 3 numbers on file. if still no one answered, then they would route police. literally 5-10 minutes before cops were dispatched!

Horandy T.A.P. Ammunition commercials are my favorite. Love seeing the scumbag getting a couple in the chest with a 1911.

They run the commercials alot during "Personal Defense Television".

Is that the one where the perp kicks in the door then, BOOM BOOM, and you hear him hit the floor?

If so, yeah, LOVE IT!
